About To Ash and Ember
Six-sided dice resolve tests using each investigator’s strengths and weaknesses. Branching event narratives open or close possibilities, while World Distortions change rules or impose restrictions during the struggle.
The investigation is intended to uncover the returning god’s name, then draw it out of the Veil through a ritual for a final confrontation. Weapons, spells and beasts can be found, empowered or sold, with Companions and Allies helping in the struggle.
