Positioning can put an enemy inside the player’s reach while keeping the player outside its attack area. A crab attacks diagonally, while a troll covers a broad square; weapon shapes offer similar differences to exploit. Attacking, using an item or moving far enough ends the turn. The descent ultimately challenges the Three-Faced God.
