In Confessions, turn-based combat uses a token system, while relationships can create battle synergies or disrupt the party. Manage stress and use inns to improve bonds during travel. Failed expeditions still yield resources for later attempts, and the Altar of Hope unlocks upgrades and new strategies. Hero stories also reveal skills and paths.

  • Kingdoms: A separate strategic campaign uses a persistent hero roster and resource gathering to defend a realm from enemy factions. Its progress is tracked independently of Confessions, and active sessions can be switched freely.
