What makes it worth a look?

  • Room completion earns experience for character-specific skill trees. Active and passive abilities open puzzle solutions, and some puzzles require them; each dungeon and its final boss are built around the corresponding character’s skills.
  • Enemies have abilities of their own: the Goblin Warrior can hurt stronger targets with Fury of the Small, while a Hobgoblin’s frontal parry reduces incoming damage.

Is this game right for you or your group?

  • Extra objectives Mostly optional floor challenges award extra skill points for collecting loot, meeting turn limits or dealing an Overkill that exceeds an enemy’s maximum health.
