About Beat in Zero

Predict enemy actions and decide how to spend each turn’s rolled cost. Multiple cards can be played if affordable, and unused cost carries forward up to nine, creating a choice between immediate action and saving for a larger turn.

Spend battle-earned points on runes whose effects complement the cards found while exploring. Random events vary the route, and defeat loses the current adventure record.
