About Arcane Drifter

Children are missing, and townsfolk who enter the mine never return. Investigate its depths to rescue the missing and save the town, aided by a mysterious voice offering resurrection at a cost.

Cards move from a two-card hand into a queue, charge before resolving, cool down and return to the deck. Equipment supplies both passive effects and cards, so equipping loot also builds the deck; crafting allows finer adjustments. A stash sits on either side of the hand.

A node-based map reveals new sections as each node is explored. After death, choose a resurrection card with a penalty such as losing equipment or paying to open chests, or accept a complete restart.
